Data Storage Directory /mnt

Available data storages: at NFS servers (/mnt/nfsXY) and at the Ceph storage cluster (/mnt/users_private/)

Note: Each job that needs a shared folder under /mnt/ must explicitly request it in the job_submission_file, see Requesting shared /mnt disks in HTCondor job.

NFS servers – /mnt/nfsXY

Data storages are NFS mounted at all user interfaces and all worker nodes as the directories /mnt/nfsN where N stands for the number from the file server name. If you wish to use them, simply create your subdirectory there. No user quotas are set and no backups are performed.

Keep in mind that these storages are not backed up. For backups you may use Data Storage (Datová úložiště) provided by the association CESNET. More detailed information is available at Another Possibilities for Data Backup.

• /mnt/nfs17 and /mnt/nfs19 of a total capacity of 80 TB and 180 TB, are accessible to all users of the Golias farm
• /mnt/nfs22_auger of a total capacity of 115 TB each are accessible only for users of the group auger
• /mnt/nfs25_auger of a total capacity of 164 TB each are accessible only for users of the group auger
• /mnt/nfs26-28_auger1 and /mnt/nfs27-28_auger2 of a total capacity of 200 TB each are accessible only for users of the group auger
• /mnt/nfs27-28_auger3 of a total capacity of 180 TB each are accessible only for users of the group auger

Every time you log in to the login server ui.farm.particle.cz, your NFS usage overview is automatically displayed . Quota limits for user home directory are also listed, including whether the quota has been exceeded.

Ceph filesystem – /mnt/users_private/ – in test mode

Each user has his own directory available with 100GB quota. No backups are performed.
