How do I submit a job on older operating systems?

A: All worker nodes have been running OS Alma Linux 9. In case you need to run your job on an older OS (AlmaLinux 8, Centos 7 or SL6) use Apptainer (formerly Singularity) containers. You only have to add a requirement for suitable container image to a job_submission_file.

The former fzu_wn-centos8 image now points to fzu_wn-alma8 (AlmaLinux 8); CentOS Stream is not supported here.
